The drama between the Philadelphia 76ers and the New York Knicks doesn’t seem to end. Now, with Game 4 of their playoffs approaching, Sixers star Kelly Oubre has lashed back at the Knicks star’s comments on Joel Embiid.
Joel Embiid was recently involved in a foul play with Mitchell Robinson in Game 3 of Knick vs. Sixers. The Knicks players criticized Embiid for his actions and called him a dirty player for making such a play. It didn’t sit right with Kelly Oubre, who couldn’t endure the disrespect of his team’s ace.

“I am not going to comment on what they’re commenting on. They’re going to hit, then we hit back, then they cry… Let’s just hoop; this isn’t the WWE,” said Oubre. The Sixers star took a pacifist approach to the situation, saying he wouldn’t comment on the comments made by the Knicks players.
However, Kelly affirmed that the Sixers wouldn’t sit back and listen to the trash talk and would hit back. He advised the Knicks to focus on playing basketball instead of trash-talking after games. He pointed out that the league they play in is the NBA, not WWE, referencing the famous wrestling entertainment brand.

“Everything is good. I am OK. The people that were involved are okay. I need to probably get a driver or something and just stay off the road and behind the wheel, but everything is good. I am good,” said Oubre. He revealed that he is planning to get a driver and stay away from the road. It would be a good decision, given that this isn’t the first time Kelly has been involved in a car accident.
