ESPN expert Kendrick Perkins believes that the Miami Heat’s chances of beating the Boston Celtics in the NBA playoffs are meager. This is due to the absence of two of their top players, Jimmy Butler and Terry Rozier, after a tough loss in Boston. Even though the Heat made a comeback in the fourth quarter, the Celtics were in control for the entire game, and their lead may have reached 34 points.
“The Miami Heat could go 100% from the field and 100% from the 3, and they’re still gonna get swept in this series,” Perkins said during a recent interview.
The Miami Heat team seems to be struggling with the recent losses of Small Forward Jimmy Butler and Shooting Guard Terry Rozier. On the other hand, the Boston Celtics have a starting lineup of players who are good at both offense and defense.

Miami Heat made a late push to get closer to the Celtics
The Heat’s roster has players like Bam Adebayo and Tyler Herro who can step up and fill the gap. Many fans, including Perkins, believe Miami is ready to sweep the series.
During the previous season, the Miami basketball team crushed the Celtics’ aspirations, preventing them from reaching the NBA Finals. Miami beat the Celtics in Game 7 in Boston, even though they had a 3-0 lead in the conference finals.

However, in their most recent game, the Celtics took advantage of the energy in the TD Garden and dominated the Heat by shooting 22 3-pointers, leading to a 31-14 score in the third quarter.
In the fourth quarter, the Celtics further increased their lead to 34 points, eventually winning the game. Even though Miami made a late push to get closer to the Celtics, they couldn’t close the gap and lost by a margin of 14 points.
