NBA 2K25 has impressed fans with its authenticity and accuracy in displaying players’ appearances, but removing All-Stars and NBA champions from its roster has disappointed them. However, console players will have access to play as some popular celebrities, including Chris Brown, Lil Wayne, and Jack Harlow.
Earlier in NBA 2K, fans were restricted to accessing the user-created rosters. However, 2K25 has allowed console players to access the rosters and players created by other PC users. NBA 2K25 media stated, “Console players can now access modded rosters and DNAs that were created on PC through the 2K servers. This is possible because NBA 2K25 supports cross-platform features for these options between PC and consoles.”
Over a dozen players have been excluded from 2K25. The significant omissions are Andre Iguodala, the four-time NBA champion with the Golden State Warriors, and Serge Ibaka, the 2019 NBA champion, who last played for the Milwaukee Bucks in the 2022-23 season. Lob City’s Blake Griffin, John Wall, and Goran Dragic are among other notable exclusions.

The latest installment of the NBA 2K series features a new update that allows users to share player DNAs and rosters across servers, including PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X. Console users can access these features from the PC version. Follow these steps to access various celebrities in NBA 2K25:
1. Go to “Creator Roster”

In addition to the musicians mentioned above, the roster with celebrity face scans features popular personalities like Druski, Kid Cudi, Lil Durk, Travis Scott, and DaBaby. Fans complained about the details of some celebrities, including Lil Wayne’s lack of tattoos and Druski’s inaccurate body type. However, many lauded the 2K series for introducing the new feature.
