Basketball fans often argue about the best player ever: LeBron James or Michael Jordan. Even experts in other sports have weighed in on the debate. Supporters of both players can become very passionate and defensive of their choice. While “greatest of all time” is often used, it still holds significant weight in specific scenarios. In this case, either LeBron James or Michael Jordan is considered the greatest player in NBA history.
Different NBA analysts have already given their opinions on this very debatable topic. During a recent podcast of Get Up on ESPN, ESPN NBA Analyst and American former professional basketball player Tim Legler gave his point on the GOAT debate between LeBron James and Michael Jordan. Legler says there is nothing LeBron James could do to surpass Michael Jordan.
“He is cemented at two as much as anything on any list you could ever create. He is cemented at two. There’s no movement there. He’s not getting caught from behind anytime soon and there’s nothing he can do to make up the ground with Jordan,” Legler said during the interview.
