The entire internet believes they have figured out which team will draft Bronny James, the son of Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James, following news of a major blockbuster move.
On Tuesday afternoon, Shams Charania of The Athletic reported that the “Lakers are zeroing in on” former NBA player JJ Redick as their new head coach. The Purple and Gold fired head coach Darvin Ham after two years. Following this report, fans have become convinced that Bronny James is now LA-bound.
The report from Charania came after ESPN’s Stephen A. Smith reported that LeBron James may leave the Lakers if they a) didn’t hire JJ Redick and b) didn’t draft his son. The four-time NBA champion can opt out of his contract this summer.
With one of those tasks almost complete, fans think they’ve answered the question to which team will draft Bronny.
