The Golden State Warriors began the season with great promise, but they are currently facing some challenges. They recently broke a five-game losing streak by securing a 99-93 win against the Houston Rockets. However, they lost their latest game against the Minnesota Timberwolves. Furthermore, NBA fans have criticized head coach Steve Kerr for making unpredictable rotations during the game.
Kerr has faced criticism in the past for his strategy of using a 13-man rotation, and now he is facing further backlash due to a disappointing rotation. During the third quarter of the Warriors’ 90-107 loss to the Timberwolves, the lineup included Pat Spencer, Lindy Waters III, Gary Payton II, Draymond Green, and Trayce Jackson-Davis.
A fan shared a video on X (formerly Twitter) showing Spencer entering the court. In the post, the fan criticized Kerr for his decision, saying, “FIRE THIS MF KERR TONIGHT.” Many other fans expressed their frustration in the comments section.

Green Understands Kerr’s Decision For His Role Off The Bench
Kerr recently announced that he plans to use Draymond Green off the bench for the foreseeable future. The head coach emphasized that this strategy aims to maximize Jonathan Kuminga’s potential while also preventing Green from becoming fatigued. Furthermore, Green will be utilized at the center during critical moments at the end of each half. In a recent interview, Green expressed his understanding of Kerr’s decision.
Steve Kerr said he’d like to keep Draymond Green coming off the bench in near future. He said they’re trying to “maximize” Jonathan Kuminga and not “wear down” Draymond Green. Plan is to close halves with Green at center. The Andrew Wiggins ankle injury could complicate puzzle.

“Coach just called and asked me; he said it’s something he was thinking about, and he wanted to know if I was okay with it. Of course, I’m okay with it. I have been one of JK’s biggest fans since he’s been here… I’m a fan of his, I want to see him do well, so if his opportunity goes through me, it is what it is. That’s his opportunity.” Green said.
“Of course I’m okay with it. I have been one of JK’s biggest fans since he’s been here… I am a product of my vet willing to take a backseat for me. So you gotta give back what came to you.”
