Lakers star LeBron James recently achieved a great feat that has immortalized him as one of the greats in the history of the NBA. After the game, he did a post-game conference where he talked about his achievements and claimed that everyone wanted to see him fail at the start of his career.
However, his statements did not sit right with the fans in the NBA community. They were quick to express their opinions on Bron’s claims and the majority of them did not agree with him claiming that the Lakers star is lying.

LeBron James claims that “Everyone” wanted him to fail
LeBron James achieved the 40K career points milestone in the match against the Denver Nuggets. After that, he did a post-game conference where he talked about his latest milestone and also answered some questions. During the interview, Bron revealed that at the start of his career, everyone wanted to see him fail.
“To be quite honest with you, everybody just wanted to see me fail when I got in the league. Everybody was just like… there is no way he is going to exceed the expectations that have been put upon him,” claimed Bron. The Lakers star highlighted that he had a lot of odds against him when he first entered the league. People doubted his abilities and did not want him to succeed. However, he was able to exceed those expectations and shut down the people who ever doubted him.
The fans not convinced by LeBron’s claims
The Future Hall of Famer may have his own perspective on his life events and believe them to be the truth. However, the fans and the NBA community did not agree with his statements at all. The netizens were quick to flood the comment sections of the posts featuring King James’ latest remarks. They expressed their opinions on the Lakers star’s claims and accused him of lying. One fan commented, “That’s definitely not the truth,” highlighting that Bron’s statements were not true and accusing him of lying.

Another fan commented, “Who hated Bron in the beginning? Smh. Nobody. Why did we start disliking him? Ask Loyal Cav fans,” highlighting that no one hated King James at the beginning of his career. However, the opinion of the people started to change after he decided to join the Miami Heat to form a superteam, leaving the Cleveland Cavaliers. The Cavs fans took Bron’s trade as a betrayal and some fans see the move as an act of betrayal to date.
