The Paul George era with the Los Angeles Clippers ended after five years, the team shared in a heartfelt statement. Nevertheless, the Golden State Warriors’ Draymond Green called out the Clippers team after George parted ways with the Los Angeles-based team.
In the latest episode of his ‘Draymond Green Show’, Green slammed the Clippers team, questioning their loyalty to Paul.
“This is not a loyal business because you have players sometimes [where] they want to do what they think is best for them and teams aren’t really willing to play ball,” Green said.
George’s agent met with the Clippers president Lawrence Frank, but they were undecided on a contract extension.
Soon after his departure from the Clippers, Paul agreed to a four-year, $212 maximum contract with the Philadelphia 76ers. This new agreement sets him up to form a formidable trio with Joel Embiid and Tyrese Maxey in the upcoming season.

“Also a little salty about that because, as you all know, Paul George was going to come to the Warriors. We wanted Paul George to come to the Warriors,” Green said in his show.
“Would have been nice. It would have been really nice. I think what Paul George could have done if he had come to the Dubs would’ve been amazing,” Green added.
