The Washington Wizards are reportedly in “serious talks” with two teams about a possible trade for star shooting guard Bradley Beal, per NBA insider Shams Charania.
Those teams have been identified as the Miami Heat and Phoenix Suns.
It should be noted that Beal is the only player in the league with a no-trade clause, so he has say-so on where he wants to go.
Beal, a career 22.1 points per game scorer, is signed through the 2025-26 season with a player option at $57 million for 2026-27.
He is set to earn $46,741,590 this upcoming season where he will be 30-years-old after signing a five-year, $251,019,650 contract with Washington.
To get a two-team deal done, the Suns would most likely need to insert at least one of the contracts of Chris Paul and Deandre Ayton for Beal to join Devin Booker and Kevin Durant.

For the Heat, they would have to part ways with a guy like Tyler Herro, but it does not look like they want to do that.
Paul is set to make $30.8 million if he is retained past the June 28th deadline while Ayton is set to make $32.5 million next season, with two more years on his contract after that.
For the Suns, they will be getting rid of an injury-prone player in Paul while gaining another one in Beal, who has not played more than 60 games in a season since 2018-19, as he has dealt with a slew of injuries.
However, the risk seems to be worth the reward.
The Suns have not escaped the second round in their last two playoff runs.
The Miami Heat have been to the NBA Finals twice, 2020 and 2023, but have lost both times. Beal could be that player to help change that.
