A massive four-team trade proposal has the Phoenix Suns moving out Bradley Beal and acquiring All-Star Jimmy Butler to team up with Devin Booker and Kevin Durant.
The Heat are expected to trade the disgruntled Butler before Thursday’s deadline. Last month alone, the 35-year-old was suspended three times by the organization — and it’s obvious that his marriage with Miami can’t last any longer.
ESPN’s Bobby Marks proposed a mammoth four-team trade idea involving the Milwaukee Bucks and Washington Wizards. In his proposal, the Suns would get Jimmy Butler and Josh Richardson.
The Heat would get Khris Middleton, Ryan Dunn, Richaun Holmes and a 2025 first-round draft pick. Milwaukee would get Kyle Kuzma to bolster their offense, along with a second-round pick.
Brian Windhorst says Jimmy Butler’s only goal is to get to Phoenix, and no amount of money or a role on a different team will change his mind. He wants Phoenix and Phoenix only.

Washington would reunite with Beal and also receive Oso Ighodaro, first-round picks in 2027 and 2029 and 2031 swap rights with the Bucks:
“This deal gets Butler to Phoenix and returns Beal to the team that drafted him, but it would come at a significant cost for the Suns.
Besides the monetary commitment to Butler in the future, Phoenix would send three first-round picks that were acquired from Utah in January and two players who would have been part of their future in Dunn and Ighodaro.
The Wizards would inherit the $111 million owed to Beal but acquire three draft assets, including the right to swap firsts with Milwaukee in 2031. After trading Kuzma to Milwaukee, Washington has the flexibility to take on Beal’s salary in the next two years. (The Wizards’ offseason goal would be to extend Beal but with the caveat of reducing his $57 million player option in 2026-27.)”

Phoenix appears to have all options on the table, with Beal and Durant widely mentioned in trade rumors. If they could somehow add a difference-maker like Butler to play with Durant and Booker, however, it just might help them re-emerge as a title contender.
Jimmy Butler’s Sweet Run In Miami Will End On A Sour Note
Butler has had a glorious run in South Beach, leading Miami to two NBA Finals appearances (2020 and 2023) and three trips to the Eastern Conference Finals. But all good things must come to an end, and now’s the time for Pat Riley to retool the roster around Bam Adebayo and Tyler Herro.
