Fans at the Chase Center experienced several intense moments during the recent game between the Phoenix Suns and the Golden State Warriors. However, the game’s standout highlight occurred in the third quarter when Suns star Kevin Durant had a heated exchange with Gary Payton Sr.
During the thrilling third quarter, Durant sank two spectacular three-pointers, propelling the Suns to a commanding 98-79 lead as they entered the final quarter. However, during a pause in the action, Durant exchanged words with Payton, who was seated courtside to watch the game. Later, Durant reached out to Payton and engaged in some trash talk. In the post-game interview, Durant reflected on his exchange with Gary Payton, mentioning that he was mic’d up for Netflix as well.
“It’s always good when I run into an older player, especially from the ‘90s. They feel like that was the golden era of the NBA… especially GP. I try to let them know what it would’ve been like if he’d have been on the court with me,” Durant said.

Kevin Durant Reflects On Devin Booker’s Performance
During the recent game against the Warriors, Devin Booker gave a strong performance. He recorded a double-double with 31 points, 11 assists, and five rebounds in 34 minutes of play. During the post-game interview, Durant commented on Booker’s impressive display and praised his skills.
“He has the responsibility to do everything out on the court. We expect that out of him. I think every coach that’s coached Book so far expects him to make plays, whether scoring, whether it’s passing, whether it’s getting a stop. So we expect him to do a lot of things, make the game easier for everybody,” Durant said.

"That's really what the difference is with us. If we're locked in on the things we want to take away and rebounding."
