The Phoenix Suns seem to have found their mojo back in order to remain alive in the playoff race. Squaring off against the Atlanta Hawks, the Suns had a strong performance to secure a 123-115 victory. And while the Suns’ fans rejoice, one particular athlete in the Suns’ locker room would be utterly pleased. Bradley Beal was going through a lean phase recently and was thus benched by HC Mike Budenholzer. Fortunately for him, coming off the bench proved to be a boon.
While Beal averaged a mere 12.5 points, 2.7 assists, and 3.0 rebounds starting, his numbers changed drastically after coming from the bench. Beal is now averaging 20.0 points, 3.3 rebounds, and 4.0 assists to give the Suns a major boost. However, Beal still finds it weird not being featured in the starting lineup.
On being asked about the same, the 31-year-old stated, “Every moment. But again, I’m not gonna be a distraction, I’m not gonna be an a**hole, I’m not gonna be unprofessional. I’m going to do what I have to do. I’ll do my job…”
NEW: Bradley Beal opens up more postgame about the Suns decision to have him come off the bench. He's had 25-points in two of the three games off the bench… You be the judge. @12SportsAZ pic.twitter.com/9GbPz6Zjaw

Surely, getting back on winning ways has calmed the nerves of both the Phoenix Suns and Bradley Beal. Beal was extremely angry after his team succumbed to a fourth straight defeat recently.
Bradley Beal Went Off On Devin Booker And Kevin Durant For Laughing After Humiliating Loss
At the stroke of the New Year, everything seemed to be going wrong for the Phoenix Suns. Facing off against the Indiana Pacers, the Suns lost 108-126, marking their fourth consecutive loss on the trot. Surprisingly, amidst the grim situation, images of Kevin Durant and Devin Booker smiling went viral.
This did not sit well with Beal as he immediately went off on his teammates. “We’re definitely pissed off. We’re not happy about it. It’s a good thing, though. You don’t guys smiling and happy and shit after four losses,” Beal stated.

Thus, with the Suns regaining some momentum, things are looking a bit better. However, it now remains to be seen how consistent Bradley Beal and co. can be in keeping up with the current form and helping the Suns get into the playoffs in the future.
