The Phoenix Suns and Bradley Beal remain central to the Jimmy Butler trade speculations. Following Friday’s practice, the Suns guard told Gerald Bourguet of PHNX Sports that he is not concerned about a possible trade.
Phoenix Suns guard Bradley Beal discussed his role in the most recent NBA trade speculations with the media prior to Saturday’s game against the Pistons. After spending so many years with the Wizards, Beal dismissed the noise and claimed that he had learned to ignore it.
Beal said, “Until one of them come to say something to me or talks to me, it’s just out there. I’m a Phoenix Sun and I’m here and I’m in the uniform. I don’t pay attention to that. They did that with me for 10 years.”
The 31-year-old Beal played for the Washington Wizards for 11 seasons to start his career. He helped establish the Wizards for a bright future and elevated them to prominence in the East alongside John Wall. He became the team’s de facto captain on the court after ten years with the team, and he even received a maximum deal with a no-trade provision.
During his tenure with the Washington Wizards, Beal participated in trade talks. This is just white noise to him. But a Butler trade may occur. The Suns are presently in the second tax apron, and there would be wages to figure out. In other words, they would have to pay cash for further contracts that exceed the NBA salary ceiling.
Jimmy Butler Would Be A Optimum Trade For Phoenix Suns
Any plausible trade combining Beal and Butler has an intriguing element. The Phoenix guard may block a trade if one is proposed because he has a no-trade clause. The Miami Heat didn’t want to trade for Beal despite his initial desire to join them.

The roles might now be switched. Beal might not want to go, but the Heat could wish for him. The salaries would also need to be equal. Some assistance is required because the two teams were unable to make a transaction straight up.
A transaction will likely succeed for a third or even fourth team. However, adding additional teams can make things worse for both sides. In any case, Beal will try to maintain the primary focus.
