The audience at the Chase Center witnessed one of the season’s most highly anticipated matchups. Former teammates Klay Thompson and Stephen Curry faced off against each other for the first time in a regular-season game. The contest was intensely competitive, culminating in the Golden State Warriors securing a narrow victory of 120-117 over the Dallas Mavericks.
In the first half of the game, the fans witnessed a humorous moment between Curry and Thompson. The former Warriors player made a three-pointer and playfully taunted Curry with a shimmy. In response, Curry smiled and shook his head while sitting on the bench. During the post-game interview, he was asked about their exchange and gave a hilarious response.
“He knows better than that,” Curry said to TNT reporter Allie LaForce after the game.
Curry delivered an impressive performance against the Mavericks, scoring 37 points while also providing nine assists and grabbing six rebounds in just 35 minutes of play. Meanwhile, Thompson scored 22 points, along with three assists and four rebounds, in the matchup against the Warriors.

Curry continues to hold strong feelings for his former teammates, as he conveyed during the interview. In contrast, Thompson expressed a somewhat different viewpoint, which he articulated in a pre-game interview.
