The Golden State Warriors secured their 15th victory of the 2024-25 NBA season in a recent game against the Minnesota Timberwolves. However, the outcome might have been different if star player Stephen Curry had not put in extra effort during the fourth quarter.
During the game, Brandin Podziemski missed a wide-open layup. Additionally, some Warriors struggled defensively against the Timberwolves. This frustrated the star player, Curry, who sent a friendly warning to his young teammates.
“Anybody who plays with me has to play decisive and confident. You’re okay with the mistakes as long as they’re done with the mindset of being aggressive. I’m cool with that.” Curry said (Via Danny Emerman).

Kerr Instructs Young Players On The Role Of Stephen Curry
The Warriors ended a three-game losing streak with their recent victory against the Timberwolves. They are currently in 7th place in the Western Conference standings, with a record of 15 wins and 12 losses. To improve their ranking in the 2024-25 NBA regular season, head coach Steve Kerr emphasized the need for young players to avoid making mistakes. In a recent post-game interview, Kerr clearly communicated his expectations to the young members of the Warriors.
“We have Steph Curry on our team, so pass the ball, move the ball… This is how we’ve played for 10 years and it’s important for our young players to understand. We don’t need contested 17-footers with 12 (seconds) on the shot clock.” Kerr said.
