The Golden State Warriors played without their superstar guard, Stephen Curry, against the Utah Jazz on Tuesday. The team ruled him out due to bilateral knee tendinitis management to keep him healthy for the long season.
According to Anthony Slater, head coach Steve Kerr confirmed that Curry’s knees have been bothering him. The Warriors are prioritizing his availability for Wednesday’s crucial game against the Western Conference leaders, the Oklahoma City Thunder, who currently hold a 37-8 record.

“With the back-to-back, we’re hopeful that he’ll play tomorrow. It felt like with three games in the next four nights with his knees where they are, let’s be smart about it and go from there,” Kerr said.
For Tuesday’s game against the Jazz, the Warriors started Dennis Schroder, Buddy Hield, Andrew Wiggins, Moses Moody, and Trayce Jackson-Davis.
Golden State has already been struggling with injuries, playing without key contributors like Jonathan Kuminga and Draymond Green. The team has lost four of its last seven games and now has a 22-23 record following a tough loss to the Los Angeles Lakers.
