Nobody saw it coming, not even Stephen Curry. The Golden State Warriors superstar met with an unexpected blunder during the latest Los Angeles Lakers matchup.

After an impressive first half, where he scored 13 points, Curry went inexplicably silent in the second half, failing to add to his tally. This inability to score proved costly for Golden State, contributing to their 118-108 loss against their Pacific Division rivals. With such a stark contrast in his performance, it was clear that Curry’s cold streak coincided with the Warriors losing momentum at a crucial juncture of the game.

The Warriors entered halftime in a competitive position, trailing by just one point, but Curry’s scoreless outing left the team struggling to find a rhythm in the later stages. While others like Andrew Wiggins and some younger players shined, the absence of Curry’s scoring in the second half was a significant blow. 

However, the Bay Area fans sound highly off with the scoreless blunder. It’s worth noting that he wasn’t the only veteran who faltered. Dennis Schroder also posted a goose egg in the second half after scoring 10 points before the break. But it was Mr Wardell Curry who got the most heat.

Fans Bash Stephen Curry For His Scoreless Outing Against Lakers

Despite Curry’s quiet second half, there were glimpses of hope from the younger players. Brandin Podziemski, in particular, stood out with his 17 points. Fans took to social media to show their displeasure with Steph’s performance.

“He got old before Bron did,” a fan commented.

“Bro is he really washed?” another one enquired.

“Unbelievable..thank God I didn’t put a slip in,” a fan wrote.

“That’s not just an off night! That’s a I don’t care anymore game! #warriors #NBA” another fan commented.

“We call that a goose egg,” a fan mocked.

“Steph Curry needs to rest and reset. The superstar is over delivering for his team. Zero points in the second half is a testament of burn out,” a user made an interesting analogy.

However, as they now sit below .500 with a 22-23 record, the team will have to rally together. And the Warriors need to find a way to extract more from their superstars, especially Curry, as they prepare to face the Utah Jazz next.
