LeBron James was just one of many NBA stars to speak out against what happened to Ahmaud Arbery whose life tragically ended for absolutely nothing.
The 25-year-old was imply out for a jog when he got chased down by a father-son duo in a Georgia neighborhood in Feb. 2020. He would proceed to be shot by those men and lose his life after they wrongly thought he was responsible for recent break-ins in the area.
Fellow NBA stars like Stephen Curry and Chris Paul have joined the discussion and ask for justice.
“Sickening what’s STILL happening out here,” Golden State Warriors star point guard Stephen Curry wrote on his Instagram late Wednesday evening. “Don’t watch the video. Respect this man and his family. Remember the name.”, as Curry also shared the trending hashtag “#justiceforahmaud”.
Oklahoma City Thunder star point guard Chris Paul also shared an image of Arbery on Instagram. “This sh– gotta stop!”
