Now that the regular season is over, we can now look back and think about the great individual seasons that many players had around the league.
When it comes to the most valuable player, only two names seem to move the dial this year and that’s Milwaukee Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo and Houston Rockets guard James Harden.
Harden has his MVP award, and the media seems to love Giannis this year as the new face, but somebody forgot to tell Stephen A. Smith.
On Tuesday, the co-host of ESPN’s ‘First Take’ took to social media and gave his vote for MVP.
It should be noted that the Rockets started the season as the 10th seed with various injuries to Chris Paul and Clint Capela, which made Harden go absolutely nuts with an historic 30+ point streak that would ultimately take a 11-14 team to 53-29 and 4th in the West.
He also averaged 36 points and 7 assists and had 2,700+ points, 500+ rebounds and 500+ assists during the 2018-2019 season.
