I think it’s safe to say that multiple NBA drafts will go by for years and no media personality will dare to bring up Kwame Brown’s name.
Brown discussed ESPN’s Stephen A. Smith and Fox Sports’ Shannon Sharpe and Skip Bayless in a profanity-laced tirade Tuesday on Instagram Live. He could be heard challenging Smith to meet him in Seattle for some hand-to-hand combat.
Smith has never shied away from replying back to people, but he has seen enough ranting videos from Brown to know that his joking days about him are over.
“I will do no such thing. I will not waste my time. That man is right; he’s been retired for years, yet all of us have been guilty of getting on him from time-to-time. He has every right to speak his mind. Go for it!”
It was Smith who brought up his famous rant about Brown back in February.

Gilbert Arenas, Stephen Jackson and Matt Barnes had all directed criticism at Brown for failing to live up to the hype of being the No. 1 overall pick of the 2001 NBA Draft.
The Washington Wizards selected Brown straight out of Glynn Academy in Georgia and he averaged 10.9 points and 7.4 rebounds during the 2003-04 season, but he never lived up to the expectations of a No. 1 pick.
If you cannot tell by his videos, he couldn’t care less about that. He just wants respect put on his name as a man.
