No matter where you look in the sports media world, it’s hard to miss ESPN’s Stephen A. Smith. He is literally everywhere.
Now, he’s taking his talents to the world of coaching.
Smith has partnered with IMG Academy in Florida for a weeklong summer basketball camp. The event will be held this month at IMG’s campus in Bradenton, Florida. However, if you want your kid to attend it, you’re going to have to break the bank.
Pricing starts at $2,899.
Smith will participate in several activities, such as a Q&A-format discussion with camp participants while sharing an inspiring message to the young athletes at IMG Academy.
No matter what is being done, not a single person thinks a price like that and higher should be dished out during a time where people can barely afford things they need.

Smith revealed just how much joy he gets from running this camp.
“To have my own basketball camp associated with IMG Academy is an incredible opportunity for me to share my story and help inspire the next generation,” Smith said. “Providing advice on what it takes to succeed not only on the court, but also beyond the shot clock, is something I’m very passionate about. I’m honored that IMG Academy sees me as someone who can be an extension of its mission of empowering student-athletes to win in their future, preparing them for college and for life.”
Smith is best known these days for his fiery on-air persona, but he did play college basketball at Winston-Salem State University in North Carolina, and has covered the NBA for decades.
Smith’s camp will run guests a ton, but the memories of working out on the court for the world’s foremost hot take artist are surely invaluable.
