Over the years, Stephen A. Smith has had several beefs with players over things he has said and reported. For the most part, he and whichever player calls him out have been cool afterward.
However, there is one player in the NBA that won’t be happening with.
Stephen A. Smith is not too fond of Dallas Mavericks NBA All-Star Kyrie Irving and he even admitted their issues are personal. Whatever those personal issues are, Smith won’t be revealing them as he stated Kyrie and his father knows why.
“Kyrie and I have our differences on a personal level, which is none of anybody’s business, and I’ll never tell why,” Smith said. “He knows why. And his daddy knows why.”
It was just last year when Irving took to Twitter and called out the ESPN personality about his behavior and how he spoke about him not wanting to get the COVID-19 shot. He stated that he had uncles and a father that could meet him on his level.

The Dallas Mavericks have been doing more losing than winning since trading for Kyrie Irving and the team continues to fall in the standings of the Western Conference. Not helping matters is Luka being injured and possibly missing games late in the season as we draw closer to the playoffs.
Irving missed Saturday’s game against the Grizzlies because of a foot injury, which head coach Jason Kidd admitted could be an issue.
Through 11 games with Dallas, the 30-year-old is averaging 27.5 points, 6.6 assists, and 5.1 rebounds per game.
