Steph was born Wardell Stephen Curry II. He even refers to himself as Wardell on his Instagram account.
He wasn’t upset with being called it, just caught completely off guard as nobody in the NBA really ever uses his real name.
Wardell Stephen Curry is averaging 28.1 points, 6.3 assists and 5.6 rebounds while shooting 44.9 percent from the field during the 2020-21 season.
