Shockwaves were made across social media when the San Antonio Spurs announced that Joshua Primo was being waived before Friday night’s home game against the Chicago Bulls.
Speculation took over Twitter and other social media like wildfire until ESPN released a statement from the 19-year-old No. 12 lottery pick.
Primo was released got multiple allegations of him exposing himself to women.
Primo acknowledged a need to continue “mental health treatment more fully.”

Primo, a 19-year-old who was a small forward, shooting guard for the Spurs, was the team’s first-round draft pick in 2021, at No. 12 overall.
Primo averaged 5.8 points, 2.3 rebounds, and 1.6 assists in 50 games, mostly off the bench, as a rookie last season.
He did not play in Wednesday’s 134-122 loss to the Minnesota Timberwolves.
