When the Philadelphia 76ers hit the court during the 2019-2020 season, the players will be dawning a new “Statement” jersey, which comes with the league’s partnership with Nike that allows every franchise to have an assortment of alternate jerseys every year.
Our first look seemed to have leaked for the 76ers on Sunday:
Just last season, the 76ers paid homage to the tradition and history of the Sixers’ franchise and the city of Philadelphia while wearing a bright red jersey with the word “sixers” on it in cursive lettering, which was a salute to the signing of the Declaration of Independence.
