The NBA ‘snitch hotline’ is very active.
NBA teams have been in the “bubble” for the past week and the hotline to report violations have been very active.
We know that because The Athletic’s Shams Charania reported on Tuesday that ‘multiple tips’ have been placed to the anonymous hotline.
Social media went crazy and immediately started to figure out which players it might be snitching on other players to gain an advantage during the restart of the season.

The hotline, part of the NBA’s 113-page memo to teams, was reportedly created to allow players to anonymously report their peers for potential violations of league safety protocols.
Players will attempt to maintain a bubble-like atmosphere at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex in Orlando in order to help prevent the spread of the coronavirus.
If players do not follow safety protocols put in place by the league, punishment consists of a warning, a suspension or a campus ban.
