Social Media is on fire Saturday morning.
LeBron James and the LA Lakers only recently clinched the 7th seed ahead of the NBA playoffs, but controversy kicked off when he broke health and safety protocols by attending an event involving countless celebrities like Drake and Michael B Jordan. James reportedly attended the promotional event for a tequila in which he has invested.
“It’s a violation of the agreed-upon protocols. And, as we have in other comparable instances around the league, it has been addressed with the team.”
Attendees had to provide either proof of their COVID-19 vaccination or supply a recent negative test. James has not disclosed whether he’s received the COVID-19 vaccine.
James will reportedly not be suspended by the league, according to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski.
