The new NFL season started with several exceptional games. Many fans enjoy watching the games to support their favorite teams, while others are curious about the upcoming games. However, some people watch the games to make money through betting. New York Knicks shooting guard Josh Hart is one of them.
Unfortunately, the 2016 NCAA champion, who recently criticized American athlete Noah Lyles, was unlucky in his NFL betting. He expressed his regrets after the first game of Week 2 between the Miami Dolphins and the Buffalo Bills and mentioned that he would not bet for the next 48 hours.
“I hate parlays. I’m officially done betting on football for the next 48 hours. See yall Sunday.” Hart wrote in his latest post on X (formerly known as Twitter).
Many fans were surprised by Hart’s post about betting and started making hilarious jokes in the comment section.
One fan said, “rich ppl so lucky cause you get to have the amazing dopamine filled feeling of a parlay hitting but not have to feel like your life is over when it doesn’t.”

Another fan said, “Bro took Keon receptions, Tyreek yards and Allen rushing TD.”
Another fan said, “You be that parlay mvp with em rebounds tho.”
Former Knicks Forward Commends Hart’s Performance
Hart supported the star player Jalen Brunson and led the team to the NBA playoffs. However, after defeating the Philadelphia 76ers in the first round, the Knicks ultimately lost to the Indiana Pacers in the second-round series.
According to StatMuse, Hart averaged 9.4 points, 8.3 rebounds, and 4.1 assists in 81 games in 2023-24. Despite the loss, the 29-year-old is still praised by former Knicks forward Larry Johnson during a recent appearance on Knicks Fan TV.
“Man, what Josh Hart did was unreal. Now, of course, you’ve got your Jalens [Brunson] and Julius [Randle] and all that, but I’m on the front row watching — now, Josh is not a big dude. Josh not a big dude. But the effort he was giving remind you of … a 6’5″, 6’6″, Dennis Rodman. Just going after everything. Just the intensity.” Johnson said.
On August 10, 2023, Hart signed a four-year, $81 million extension with the Knicks. Despite his recent setbacks in betting, the 29-year-old will have the opportunity to entertain his fans in the upcoming NBA season, which is set to commence soon.
