News of the upcoming release of a special set of Jordan sneakers has fans buzzing.
Another retro from the world’s most famous sneaker brand is reportedly set to launch in 2025, with the Air Jordan 8 “Aqua” due to make it’s way back after last being released in 2015.
That would mark its third return since MJ himself debuted the “Aqua” colorway at the 1993 All-Star Game. It was one of the first Jordan sneakers to deviate from the Black/Red/White color scheme associated with the brand.
The sneaker was re-released in 2007 and again in 2015. According to @SneakerHeadz, it’s scheduled to be back next year. It will return in Black/True Red/Iron Grey/Bright Concord/Aquatone, with a release period confirmed for next summer.
The kicks became instant favorites for their uniqueness and are still appreciated by basketball fans and sneakerheads alike.

“Yoooo next year is about to be crazy 😧,” a third exclaimed.
“I don’t know man… Nike/Jordan Brand gotta choke hold on us in 2025…. Like how do my pockets handle this? Sheesh,” said a fourth.
