Glen ‘Big Baby’ Davis is staying in his zone despite feeling imprisoned. The former NBA player has the internet buzzing with the latest picture that emerged from the prison. Taking it to his Instagram account, Davis shared a snap of what seems to be a gang member assembly, if it’s safe to say so.
He is standing in the center, and there are a few other inmates vibing all around. However, right after Big Baby shared it through his Instagram story, the image went viral.

For those who do not know, authorities sentenced Davis to 40 months in prison for his role in a healthcare fraud scheme that exploited the NBA’s health benefit plan. The sentencing, handed down by U.S. District Judge Valerie Caproni, took the sports world by storm. It was particularly due to the high-profile nature of Davis and other former players involved.
In addition to his prison term, the court ordered Davis to pay $80,000 in restitution. Authorities convicted Davis on multiple charges, including healthcare fraud, wire fraud, and conspiracy to commit false statements. Prosecutors revealed that from 2014 to 2018, he submitted over $132,000 in fraudulent claims for medical services that were never provided. That list also included a notable claim of $27,200 for dental work while he was actually traveling in Las Vegas.
Social Media Reacts To Glen ‘Big Baby’ Davis’ Prison Photo
Davis has been widely known for his time with the Boston Celtics. He had a championship back in 2008 with the camp. However, nobody saw it coming when he was announced to be found guilty in the case. And the internet fans couldn’t stop reacting to his latest social media post.

“What is the point? Being in prison shouldn’t be portrayed as a cool thing regardless of someone’s status(wrongfully convicted or innocent until proven guilty),” a user explained.

While his time in the prison is still far from over, fans will be eagerly waiting for his release. He still has a long time to spend behind bars. Given the nature of his fault, this case forms part of a broader investigation into a network of former players who allegedly submitted nearly $4 million in false reimbursement claims. They reportedly took advantage of a system designed to support the health needs of NBA players and their families.
