The Golden State Warriors defeated the Boston Celtics on Thursday night to capture the franchise’s fourth NBA Title in the last eight seasons. This is the first championship that the Warriors have captured since Kevin Durant left to join the Brooklyn Nets back in 2019.

As stated in the final tweet above, Steph Curry and the Dubs had won a title before Durant arrived. And now they have won one after he left as well.
Many basketball experts and fans used to give Durant a lot of credit for the Warriors’ sustained domination, but this latest Championship has once again proven they are a great team even without him.
