The Memphis Grizzlies evened their second-round Western Conference series with the Golden State Warriors with a 106-101 victory in Game 2 on Tuesday, with Ja Morant pouring in an incredible 47 points to go with eight rebounds and eight assists.
However, he along with refs are being blasted for one play in the game that fans says happens a lot but is rarely ever called.
In the video below, Morant is being called out for carrying the ball in an egregious way where refs should’ve caught it and called it during the game.
The third-year guard, who scored the final 15 points for Memphis in just over four minutes of game action, also pulled out a similar move in Game 1 as well.

“A player who is dribbling may not put any part of his hand under the ball and (1) carry it from one point to another or (2) bring it to a pause and then continue to dribble again.”
If this video makes its way to the NBA, the officials will most certainly see it and likely call it as the series shifts to the Bay Area.
