LeBron James is easily one of the best NBA players that has ever graced the Earth.
For as great as he is, he has always had a problem with stretching the truth. Some would even say that he lies quite a bit about things that aren’t even lie-worthy.
Such was the case on Sunday.
While speaking to reporters Sunday hours before the all-star game, LeBron stated how unsure he was that he wanted to end his career with a farewell tour.
“I’m 50-50,” he said. “I’m going to be honest. There are times I feel like I owe it to my fans who have been along this journey for two decades-plus, to be able to give them that moment, where it’s every city, and they give you your flowers or whatever the case may be. That seems cool, but the other side: I’ve never been that great with accepting praise. It’s a weird feeling for me. I’ve never really talked about it much.
“It’s just a weird feeling for me,” he added in a rare moment of vulnerability. “To go to each city, if that’s the case — I’ve seen Michael [Jordan]’s, I’ve seen Kobe [Bryant]’s, I’ve seen a lot of guys’ [farewell tour] — I just don’t know how I’d feel. I don’t know if I’d feel great about it. Maybe the only child in me. I don’t know.”

Fans immediately called him out for the praise part.
The 2024 NBA All-Star Game will take place in Indianapolis, Indiana. James will become the first player to ever play in 20 All-Star Games.
He can make history as he needs just three defensive rebounds to pass Hall of Famer Tim Duncan (98) for the most in All-Star Game history.
The 39-year-old has All-Star Game career averages of 22.4 points, 5.8 rebounds, and 5.8 assists per contest.
Despite his age, James still remains a top-ten player in the NBA and is averaging 24.8 points, 7.2 rebounds, 7.8 assists, and 1.3 steals per contest while shooting 52.0% from the field.
