You just knew Skip Bayless would have a ton to say about the Los Angeles Lakers trading for Russell Westbrook.
On Thursday, the biggest trade on draft day was reportedly agreed upon between the Los Angeles Lakers and Washington Wizards, and will send Russell Westbrook to L.A. to form a Big Three alongside LeBron James and Anthony Davis.
Skip Bayless couldn’t believe his eyes, not because he thinks this puts the Lakers in a good position, but that LeBron is going to regret signing off on the deal.
“NO! No, no, no, no, LeBron. You just blew it. Russell Westbrook no more fits with you more than I fit with you. This will turn into a desperate disaster.”
“You will come to regret signing off on this deal. You will come to see that your Lakers just got worse.”
LeBron James about five months away from his 37th birthday and the team desperately needed someone to take the load off him, especially during the regular season. Westbrook can do that and then some.

Another concern over the last couple of years was the sizable drop-off offensively when James is on the bench. Westbrook has proven to be a triple-double machine.
