Lakers ace LeBron James had an explosive performance against the Los Angeles Clippers and even his biggest critic Skip Bayless was forced to praise him. However, that praise was very short-lived as Skip recently tweeted his mind out.
Skip Bayless has gone back to his signature scathing remarks after praising Bron. He compared the Lakers ace to the legendary Michael Jordan out of the blue and tried to target one of the flaws of the Lakers star. This comparison left the fans confused as Bayless had just praised Bron.
Skip Bayless drags LeBron James into Michael Jordan comparison
Popular NBA analyst and biggest critic of LeBron James has dragged the Lakers’ ace to an unusual comparison with Michael Jordan. Bayless has been an avid Jordan supporter for his entire life and has always claimed that Michael is the GOAT of basketball. He has argued the possibility of LeBron being the GOAT many times and never fails to criticize the Lakers star for even the smallest of his mistakes.
Bayless recently made the comparison using his official X account. “Good for LeBron, playing back-to-back tonight vs NBA’s worst team. He has now played 5 of 10 back-to-backs. MJ played all 82 nine times, 81 once, and 80 once,” posted Bayless. He compared Bron’s game participation to Michael’s and targeted the inconsistency of the Lakers’ star. Bayless highlighted that Jordan had played 82 games nine times 81 once, and 80 once while on the contrary Bron struggles to play even 10 games back-to-back. He sarcastically congratulated King James to make his point more obvious.
LeBron reaches touching distance of 40K milestone
Bayless’ abrupt personality change confused the fans. However, many fans were more confused when he praised LeBron. Skip’s tweets have caused quite a stir on social media but LeBron James seems to not be bothered by them at all. He is now closing in on setting another historic milestone in the world of basketball. Last year, Bron broke the record of NBA Icon and Lakers legend Kareem Abdul-Jabbar. He became the league’s top scorer and he even set his own record.

LeBron touched the 39,000 career points marked last year and cemented himself as one of the greatest in the history of the league. He had an incredible performance against Kawhi Leonard’s team and scored 34 points. In their match against the Washington Wizards Bron scored 31 points guiding his team to victory. He is now only nine points short of reaching the 40,000-point career mark, which will set another record in the history of the NBA. King James will likely accomplish this feat in his next matchup with the Denver Nuggets.
