A few days ago, during an interview on the Check Ball Show, Philadelphia 76ers star player Joel Embiid surprised everyone by stating that he is the most hated guy in the NBA. He also mentioned that many people can relate to his story. Embiid attracted his first fan in a matter of days with his ‘Most hated person’ comment. And it was none other than Skip Bayless, the host of the show Undisputed, who could relate to Embiid’s remark.
During a recent episode of his show, while discussing Embiid’s remark with Keyshawn Johnson and Paul Pierce, Bayless made a bold statement. During his final days at FS1, he called himself the “Most Hated Man In All Of Sports Media.”
“The final irony to this discussion is that somebody sitting at this table is the most hated man in all of sports media. But I don’t know who that is.” Bayless said.
Bayless, who has been hosting FS1’s show “Undisputed” for a long time, is reportedly leaving the show. This comes a year after former NFL player Shannon Sharpe departed. Bayless has spent eight years on “Undisputed,” and later this summer will be his final appearance. Before leaving, Bayless was also more vocal about his experience and mentioned the “Most Hated” comment.
Johnson Calls Out Bayless: The NBA Analyst’s Grudge Against LeBron James Exposed
Bayless has a remarkable history of criticizing the Los Angeles Lakers’ star player, LeBron James, on several occasions. Johnson reminded the 72-year-old NBA analyst that this was due to Bayless’s disdain for James. He pointed out that Bayless doesn’t consider any other basketball player superior to the legendary Michael Jordan.
“I can see why. Because you hate on LeBron. You hate on Dak Prescott. You act like there’s no other basketball player to ever walk the face of the earth other than Michael Jordan. You scream and holler about Roger Staubach and none of us at the desk other than you was born. That’s why.” Johnson said during the debate with Bayless.

Due to his dislike for King James, several NBA analysts frequently criticized Bayless. In a recent interview, Cam Newton, a former Carolina Panthers quarterback, also criticized Bayless, saying he is just a co-host and no bigger than James and Kobe Bryant. Well, Skip Bayless is all set to leave the “Undisputed” show, and maybe then, he might seldom face criticism again.
