Before retiring from the NBA in 2000, Dennis Rodman had cemented his legacy as arguably the best rebounding forward in the league’s history. The former NBA star, who most recently slammed Team USA coach Steve Kerr, ended his career with five NBA titles to his name. While his fans are well aware of these on-court achievements, fewer people know about his intense partying habits, which became the stuff of legend.
During a recent appearance on “The Big Podcast,” Shaquille O’Neal shared a hilarious and eye-opening story about Rodman’s wild lifestyle. Shaq revealed that Rodman would often skip the usual post-game routine of showering and head straight to the club after games.
“Doing it in the middle of the meeting. Takes a cold shower. Not paying attention. We go out first, and he’ll come out. He’ll get you 25 rebounds. Stinking like a motherf***er, put his clothes on, and go to the club and have the baddest woman,” Shaq said.
“I’m like, this motherf*er stinks. He smells like garbage truck water, and he’s got models on him at the club. I ain’t ever seen what I’ve seen with Dennis Rodman. I was mad,” he added.
