Shaquille O’Neal is an elite prankster. It’s not a term we gave to the basketball legend, but this is how he has been known for a long time, all because of his funny side. One of his former teammates, Tryonne Lue, recently caught him off-guard during a conversation.
In a recent episode of The Draymond Green Show, Lue shared a wild story from his time as a teammate with Shaquille O’Neal. It was a years-old incident that revolved around a jaw-dropping hazing incident that also involved Devean George. According to Lue, Shaq took things to an extreme by allegedly defecating in George’s shoes as a form of payback for not following an order.
The absurdity of the whole situation rose to another level by George’s reaction upon discovering what had happened. It was one of those outrageous moments that seemed almost too crazy to believe in The Big Aristotle’s context. While it definitely sounded like classic Shaq humor gone wild, the story left him intrigued.
However, Shaquille O’Neal wasn’t having it. He jumped onto Instagram to deny Lue’s claims.
“I most certainly did not @draymondshow @iambarondavis don’t listen to him this is what they call. #allegedly @bigpidcastwithshaq #thedraymondshow can’t believe he said that shhhhhhhh,” Shaq wrote in the comments.
Yet, Devean George himself took a more balanced view of the whole thing. He had previously expressed gratitude towards Shaq for helping him tackle the challenges of being a rookie.

Devean George Already Dismissed The Claims Against Shaquille O’Neal
Shaquille O’Neal has always had a reputation for being a big jokester, both on and off the court. So whenever any of his former teammates recall an incident, it sounds almost believable. However, the one Lue alleged was long dismissed by Devean George a couple of years ago.
He dismissed the claim that Shaq had once defecated in his shoes after George forgot to bring doughnuts to a meeting. However, Devean was quick to shoot down that story.
“Hell no, that’s a lie, that’s cap. And I know T-Lue started that. That never happened. I think he did that to someone in Orlando. I don’t remember the dude’s name, but he did that in Orlando. But he never took a s*** in my shoes,” George said.

George even joked that if Shaq had actually done something like that, he would have given him a piece of his mind. However, it is still a mystery how many other pranks Shaq had played during his active basketball career. If not today, we might get to see them resurface.
