Shaquille O’Neal is known for his bold personality and his no-nonsense talks. He has never hesitated to stand up for himself when challenged. Recently, during an interview with Complex, the former NBA star reflected on a game he considers one of his greatest highlights.
Shaq recounted a memorable game at The Forum where the New York Knicks made a critical mistake. They left Chris Dudley to guard him, but Shaq was not satisfied.
“I’m at The Forum, and I take a bounce, and Chris Dudley is on me… It’s against my religion if you don’t double-team me. It means you’re not showing me proper respect, and he’s trying to use his strength, and the double’s not coming,” Shaq said.
“I take another bounce, drop that dunk, try to put my nuts all up in his freakin’ face. Like just open up the legs, the dunkman pose, and then when I was coming down, he was like, ‘Oooh,’ and I was like, ‘Fuck off me,’ and I pushed him,” he added.
Rudy Gobert Responds To Shaquille O’Neal’s Latest Criticism Towards Him
Shaquille O’Neal recently named Rudy Gobert as the Worst Player of All Time. Nevertheless, Gobert is not the one to stay calm and quiet after having so much criticism from Shaq. The Minnesota Timberwolves star recently clapped back at Shaq on an X post.

“It is sad to see someone who has accomplished as much as you did, @SHAQ both in sport and business, still be triggered by another man’s finances and accomplishments. I get the entertainment part, but unlike other folks, you don’t need that stuff to stay relevant,” Gobert wrote in the caption.
It remains to be seen how Shaq will address Gobert’s take. Will he respond with another round of comments, or will he let this one slide? Stay tuned to get the latest update.
