Shaquille O’Neal might be 52, but the former Lakers star is still a kid at heart. His hilarious quips and avoidable beefs are enough to prove his childlike nature. Amid his hiatus from the sets of “Inside the NBA,” Shaq is busy purchasing stuff that’d make any grown-up kid happy.
In a recent social media post uploaded by KoolerKartz, Shaq is seen living his best life with his recent purchase of a custom-made $5,300 kart. The post read, “What an incredible experience. Shaquille O’Neal reached out requesting for a “Shaq-sized cart”. After that face time call I quit my union job and took KoolerKartz to the next level. While delivering the kart, Shaq also unexpectedly purchased the kart I brought to show the size comparison. Shaq has to be one of the coolest humans I have ever met. Thank you @Shaq for changing my world with this opportunity.”
The 7’1″ NBA legend was seen riding his “Shaq-sized cart” in a series of pictures and videos. His son, Shareef O’Neal, showed his excitement seeing his father’s purchase by sharing the post on his Instagram story. The former Magic big man’s liking for vehicles is nothing new and his latest purchase will surely feel at home in his massive collection of big toys.

For a player who has earned nearly $300 million in salaries during his NBA career, having a collection of the world’s finest cars is not unusual. Shaq has over 30 cars in his garage, most custom-made to fit his massive frame.
His 355 F1 Spider is one of the oldest cars in his collection, with a license plate that reads “Shaq F1.” His Lamborghini Gallardo is another hypercar in his collection, modified by Gaffoglio Family Metalcrafters to accommodate the NBA champion. His other convertibles are a Customized Dodge Challenger R/T Convertible, a Mercedes S550 Convertible, and a Cadillac Escalade.

But one of Shaq’s most eye-catching possessions has to be his Polaris Slingshot. The three-wheeler is named “Sling-Shaq” and is highly customized, with no doors or roof. To quench the thirst for music, it has an 18-speaker sound system and can hit 60 mph in just 5 seconds.
His Vanderhall Venice Roadster and 2003-2007 Infiniti G35 Coupe, named “Vaydor” are two other marvels of his collection. His Nikola Badger is the only noteworthy electrical vehicle in his collection.
For a person nicknamed “The Diesel,” the need for speed is a must, and Shaq fulfills this need with his collection of cars, which is compared to a few in the world.
