It’s been said that Dwyane Wade carried Shaquille O’Neal to his fourth title. Now there are a few kids out there who could say the same, though a title wasn’t involved.
The former NBA center was fake-saved from drowning by around a dozen kids during a Hawaiian vacation, and we’d bet that they felt it the following day.
Lots of kids playfully carry their dads through water, yet most dads don’t weigh over 330 pounds or are over seven feet tall.
As you could see in the video below, the four-time NBA champion pretended to drown while at a water park in Hawaii and it took every kid in there to get him to safety, though not quite as they couldn’t actually get him out of the water.
While this was a nice touch from The Diesel, he completely bombed on the fashion front as he was wearing shoes in the water. The sneakers do not appear to be specifically made for water like the ones you see people buying to avoid being bothered by rocks, seaweed, or worse, sea urchins, but they were on his size 22 feet anyhow.
Fortunately for the kids, there’s a video out there. Otherwise, it would have been hard to convince their classmates they saved Shaq from drowning while on holiday.
