O’Neal last played in the NBA in 2011 as a member of the Boston Celtics, which came just one year after his lone season as a member of the Cavaliers.
For his career, Shaq averaged 23.7 points, 10.9 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 2.3 blocks per game, though he had a career free-throw percentage of just 52.7 percent.
