Kevin Durant may be one of the best players the NBA has ever seen, but his legacy has taken multiple hits ever since he decided to not only leave the OKC Thunder but join the Golden State Warriors, the very team that had just eliminated his team in the playoffs.
Durant joining the Warriors created a ridiculous superteam that teams could not deal with unless they had injuries, which is what happened when they faced the Raptors in the NBA Finals.
After leaving the Bay Area, he took his talents to the Brooklyn Nets alongside Kyrie Irving and things have not gotten well. Now, he is demanding out.
On a recent episode of “UNDISPUTED”, Shannon Sharpe trolled Kevin Durant for “running away when it gets hard”.
“I’m surprised, but I started thinking and realized KD’s a runner. He’s a track star. He’s going to run away when it gets hard. He can’t take the pain, he can’t get scared, if you get involved, he’ll leave your team in ruins… I’m so disappointed in KD. This KD/LeBron comparison, we can put it to bed.”

Durant finished the season averaging 29.9 points per game on nearly 52% shooting. The Nets got swept in the first round of the NBA Playoffs by the Boston Celtics, which was a huge disappointment.
Durant has played with co-star Kyrie Irving for the last two seasons, and they have only won one playoff series.
The 33-year-old forward, who just completed his third year with the Nets, is under contract through the 2025-26 season after signing a four-year, $198 million extension in 2021.
