The Los Angeles Lakers are doing their best to secure a playoff spot in the 2024-25 NBA season. To improve their chances, Anthony Davis recently suggested that the team may acquire another big man before the trade deadline on February 6, 2025.
In another interview, Davis continues to remind the Lakers’ front office about the team’s need for a center. Despite his reminders, the franchise has not taken considerable action to resolve this issue. During a recent appearance on ABC’s NBA Countdown, ESPN’s Shams Charania discussed the significance of Davis’ requests and outlined how the Lakers intend to approach the upcoming trade deadline.
“This isn’t about LeBron James. Anthony Davis is in his prime and wants to win another championship. He told me his motivation with LeBron is to bring another title to LA. They never got that 2020 parade, and this stems from his desire to win,” Charania said.
