A U.S. Senator has boldly called out LeBron James of promoting extreme violence in America after he posted an image of the Ohio cop with a warning of ‘You’re Next.’
Sen. John Kennedy called out the Los Angeles Lakers superstar during the hearing on domestic violence extremism while bringing out a blown up portion of his tweet for all to see.
See below:
Kennedy asked the Secretary of Homeland Security, Alejandro Mayorkas, if LeBron’s post “contributes to domestic violence in America.”
LeBron published and then deleted the tweet last month after body cam footage showed 16-year-old Ma’Khia Bryant with a knife in her hand and attacking two different women with it. The officer shown in LeBron’s post pulled his gun and fired 4 shots, killing Bryant.
Kennedy said, “All we had at the time was the video, and we had nothing else.”
