Scottie Pippen woke up on Thursday morning minding his business as always, only to log on Twitter to see his name being thrown into the mud for no reason.
It all started when Richard Jefferson criticized Giannis Antetokounmpo by calling him a “Pippen,” after the Bucks dropped another game to the Heat on Wednesday and falling into an 0-2 hole.
“Giannis might be a Pippen,” he tweeted, obviously referring to Bulls legend Scottie Pippen. “There I said! He needs his Jordan.”
On Thursday, Pippen caught wind of the tweet, and proceeded to end Jefferson’s entire career.
“I’m not Giannis,” he wrote, “I don’t have back-to-back league MVPs (he will in a matter of days—and he’s not me. The question is… who were you as a player?”
