Fan bases of sports teams can be a weird bunch. If their squad has a chance to acquire you in free agency and the player goes elsewhere, their attitude goes from wanting you badly to calling you overrated and everything else in the book to justify not wanting you in the first place.
That’s exactly what happened recently when Kawhi Leonard was making his way through a crowd of people and a salty Lakers fan could be heard yelling to Kawhi as, ‘the most overrated player in the history professional of sports.’
Kawhi, of course, signed with the Los Angeles Clippers this off-season, spurning the opportunity to be a super-team alongside LeBron James and Anthony Davis.
