He got off with 31 points on the game night while clutching down the stretch. Also, he got optimum support from Malik Monk for the win as well. Monk contributed with 28 points to the chart and dished out nine crucial assists.

Additionally, he sank four key free throws, adding to the Kings’ lead. With the double powerpack aids, the Kings improved to a record of 21-20. It also marked their eighth victory in nine games since the appointment of interim coach Doug Christie.
Other than his game-high contribution, DeMar DeRozan’s efficiency was at its best. He shot over 52% from the field and a perfect 100% from the free-throw line, all to seal the deal for the Kings. Down the stretch, the Kings faced some hurdles, including three turnovers in a row. However, they regained their composure and didn’t turn the ball over again.
They remained calm under pressure while delivering 11 straight free throws in the clutch. On the Rockets’ side, Jalen Green led their scoring efforts with 28 points. Alperen Sengun added a double-double with 21 points and 10 rebounds, contributing both in offense and defense while also tallying four steals. The Rockets managed to climb back from a 16-point deficit in the third quarter, even taking a brief lead late in the game. However, they were unable to secure the win in the final moments and had to return empty-handed.
