After defeating the Los Angeles Clippers 120-98 on Friday, the Denver Nuggets secured a narrow 130-129 victory over the Sacramento Kings on Monday. The trio of Nikola Jokic, Jamal Murray, and Russell Westbrook delivered a cohesive performance from start to finish, leading the Nuggets to the win.
With this victory, the Nuggets improved their record to 14-10, moving up to fifth place in the Western Conference standings. Meanwhile, the Kings dropped to 13-14, slipping to 12th in the West.
Denver Nuggets’ Big Three Deliver As The Kings’ Efforts Come Up Short
The trio of Nikola Jokic, Jamal Murray, and Russell Westbrook delivered an all-around performance, combining for 66 points, 29 assists, 25 rebounds, six steals, and two blocks.
Jokic recorded yet another triple-double with 20 points, 14 rebounds, 13 assists, and three steals while shooting 7-of-13 from inside the arc and 3-of-4 from the free-throw line. The triple-double marked his tenth triple-double in the season.

Jamal Murray led the scoring charge for the Nuggets with 28 points, six assists, two rebounds, and a block. Aaron Gordon also contributed significantly with 24 points on 9-of-14 shooting, seven rebounds, and two assists. Russell Westbrook added 18 points, nine rebounds, ten assists, and three steals in the win.
The Sacramento Kings also put up a strong fight, led by De’Aaron Fox and Domantas Sabonis. De’Aaron Fox led all scorers with 29 points, adding seven assists and five rebounds.

Domantas Sabonis had a dominant night with 28 points, 14 rebounds, six assists, and three steals, but his efforts weren’t enough to secure a win. Malik Monk added 25 points, 10 assists, and six rebounds. DeMar DeRozan added 17 points, while Doug McDermott provided a solid 16 points off the bench.
The Kings will face the Los Angeles Lakers on Thursday, while the Nuggets will face the Portland Trail Blazers on the same day.
