Unless you’ve been living under a rock for the better part of the past two years, then you’d know that politics have absolutely dominated the conversation in the United States ever since Donald Trump was elected President.
His main slogan to his base that still is yelled today is, “Build that wall,” which is brought up on just about every news post whenever in every city anytime someone that is perceived to be illegal has committed a crime.
During a recent Sacramento Kings home game, two fans decided it would be a grand idea to voice their political affiliation by wearing two custom jerseys that read, “Trump,” and “Build the wall.”
Social media reacted:
Yep. I’m like 15 rows behind these guys and wondered if I could hit em in the head with my shoe the whole game.

This is NOT Sacramento. This is not what my city stands for or what we as fans stand for. This is pure hate. And it’s disgusting. pic.twitter.com/phWGsrx3MP

We are not saying we shouldnt let them live. We are saying they are assholes and they don’t represent the ideals of the majority of the city, and certainly not the NBA. I am wondering if the NBA has any thoughts on their licensed property being used in a racist manner.

So @nba, @vivek, @TheNBPA @SacramentoKings? Any comment on being able to personalize political messages on official customizable NBA jerseys? https://t.co/iNT5ZNSlJU
